November 14th, 2017: Deezer, the world’s most diverse, dynamic and personal global music streaming company, is giving desktop users the music experience they’ve been waiting for, with a new universal desktop app for Mac and Windows. The app not only eliminates the hassle and additional step of opening up a new browser but desktop users with Premium+ account, who download the new app before January 2018, will be able to hear all their music in high-definition audio by selecting this option under sound settings.*
For the first time, music fans from around the world will be able to hear music the way it was meant to be heard in lossless CD quality at 16 bit FLAC using their own headphones or plugged into speakers, turning their private space into a high definition listening experience.
Deezer is perhaps the simplest online music streaming service you’ll ever have. Whenever you sign up it asks you to list down your favorite genres and your favorite artists. As soon as you do that it hooks you up with new ‘Flow’ feature they introduced back in 2012, what Flow does is incredible to say the least!
Available in Beta mode, the newly designed desktop app is an instant gateway for music lovers to access over 43 million diverse tracks, including Flow, a personal soundtrack that combines smart data and analytics to play the tracks that users want to hear. In addition to listening to editorial recommendations, new releases and playlists, desktop app users can discover Deezer exclusive videos featuring interviews and performances from global artists around the world. Music lovers in France, Germany, UK, Brazil and Latin America can also enjoy localized content within the app.
