Punjabi posted welcoming Dilaik back in the show as she wrote, 'Welcome Home Saumya' and tagged Dilaik in the same-Apart from being on-screen rivals as Preeto and Soumya, Punjabi was an avid supporter of Dilaik in her Bigg Boss 14 journey where she even met her a couple of times while inside the house. Rubina Dilaik poured water on co-contestant Rakhi Sawant after she called her husband Abhinav Shukla 'tharki'. Kamya Punjabi took to Twitter to slam Rakhi and support former co-star on the issue. She wrote that even she would have done the same and Rakhi should know where to stop.

Kamya, who has recently been quite critical of Rubina, was appreciated by Rubina's fans for writing something good about the actress. A fan wrote, 'Thank god finally you posted something good abt rubina (sic).' To which she replied, 'Haha i like her n will be very very very happy if she lift the tropy but when she is wrong i will point that out too... you all need to understand that (sic).'

On Bigg Boss 14's Thursday episode, Rakhi Sawant was seen taunting Abhinav in the luggage area. Later, she was seen badmouthing Abhinav while conversing with Devoleena Bhattacharjee. The actor called her 'wahiyat aurat' after she called him 'tharki pati of Rubina'. Rubina came out of the bathroom and threw a bucket full of soapy water on her. Abhinav asked Rubina to calm down.

Aly told Rubina that she shouldn't have thrown water on her and this was not the way to deal with the situation. Rubina said that she knows that she is wrong but she could have done something worse. He asked her to calm down as Rakhi will continue to trigger her. Bigg Boss got the housemates assembled in the living area. As a punishment, Rubina got nominated for the remaining two weeks for throwing water at Rakhi.
